    Ofsted Inspection - 2019

Teachers use their expert subject knowledge to plan logical sequences of lessons that arouse pupils’ curiosity and stretch their understanding. They use a variety of approaches to help pupils remember what they have learnt and give pupils plenty of time in lessons to discuss their ideas. Pupils express themselves cogently, both verbally and in writing, in all subjects. They use subject-specific vocabulary with precision and make connections between their current and previous learning. Pupils read widely and often, both for pleasure and in their various subjects.

    Exceptional School Award

The accreditation process has shown not only that Beaconsfield High School is an ‘Exceptional School’, but that it is also highly ambitious, forward-looking and puts the attainment and wellbeing of students at the heart of all it does. The findings of the review demonstrate that it is held in high regard by all its stakeholders and the students themselves are its best ambassadors.

    Challenge Partners Award

We are very proud to have been awarded an Area of Excellence in the school by Challenge Partners.  We had a virtual inspection of our Getting Life Ready whole school learning programme, GLR curriculum and how we use this as our praise and reward system.
