Beaconsfield High School, an outstanding girl’s grammar school, has a rare opportunity for an individual with vision and ambition to inspire and enthuse students to enhance their interest in Languages.  Our students all want to learn and are rapid learners – a dream come true!  

This is a new role for BHS.  As a Lead Practitioner in our successful department, you will have additional time (on top of the allocation towards PPA and teaching) to make the learning and teaching of the Languages department even better than it is now and bring excitement into Languages across the classes.  Our Head of Languages is keen for this role to focus on best practice within the classroom as it is a very collaborative department.

To support the pastoral and administrative needs of Years 7 and 8.

37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.  Actual pay range £18,417 to £19,907 dependent on experience

To provide specialist Social, Mental and Emotional Health support.  To assist and support a student with a statement for ASD. Also to support other SEN students as required  

30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Pay range R2/11 – R2/15  Actual Salary £12733 - £14303, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Applicants should have a good level of education and should be able to help students in a wide variety of subjects. Experience of supporting young people would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
