Students acknowledged in Bucks Young Scientist awards

We are very proud of three of our high achieving scientists who were invited to the Buckinghamshire Young Scientists of the Year celebration earlier this month to be acknowledged for their learning and determination towards success. Well done to Lilian Garrod, Lindsay Ives and Pathusha Pushpakanthan, pictured below.

As previously reported, the A-Level students were nominated by the school for their hard work, commitment and achievement in science in the Science Oxford Young Scientists of the Year celebration (in association with Buckinghamshire Learning Trust), which honours some of the UK's most outstanding Year 13 science students.

Lillian Garrod, Lyndsay Ives and Pathusha Pushpakanthan were recognised by the BHS Science department for their efforts in Physics, Chemistry and Biology respectively. The students attended a special celebration event at Green Park, Aston Clinton, which included a key note speaker, a canapé reception and certificates recognising their achievement.
