Remarkable effort from Young Enterprise students
Three teams have participated in the Young Enterprise competition this year, with one team winning two categories and the other two teams also taking prizes.
Athena produced a cookbook for children called 'Kids Kitchen' - a fun, interactive book that teaches children about the world as well as helping them learn about cooking. They won prizes for the best presentation and for the best trade stand. Incredible!
Geminology made a range of multi-coloured necklaces, which all embody different emotions and qualities. They won second place in the competition for the best business plan and won best trade stand at the Beaconsfield High School competition in December. Infinite sold student artwork, which they framed in order to add value. They sourced material not only from Beaconsfield High School but also local schools.
Young Enterprise is a national competition run by volunteers to give students the experience of running a real business. Through the experience, students learn valuable 'soft' skills such as teamwork, problem solving, communication and resilience.
