Deforestation is caused by natural disasters and humanity itself cutting trees down for many purposes like making space for industrial buildings, insulation and furniture.
Trees and plants in general help us to breathe and we help them. We work in unison as we breathe in the oxygen they give out and they breathe in the carbon dioxide we breathe out. They are also the habitats of many animals like squirrels, chipmunks and a range of birds which means that when the trees are cut off from their roots, certain animals have no home and are vulnerable to our machines and their predators.
Trees help our bodies function properly yet we ‘repay’ them by cutting them down and converting them into something to put in our rooms and making them into paper which we waste half of the time. Humanity is the only race that will cut down trees to make paper and will write ‘save the trees’ on that paper.
Deforestation not only affects us and the animals, it also affects the Earth’s natural beauty that was here way before we were. The machines we use like cars, trucks and tractors give out pollution which affects how trees develop and grow. This leads to trees dying before they even reach their final stage of growth. That results in a large decrease of healthy trees across the globe. As well as us doing this horrible action, something even worse is that we know we are doing it. There are too many people out there who know this is happening and have a voice to protest, yet say nothing and act like everything is perfect.
Nature is a beautiful creation that takes its course within its own time; it cannot be rushed and doesn’t need help from anyone. Cutting down the trees ruins the beauty and the fun for everyone living their life. We should be able to look forward to experiencing something wonderful with nature but instead, if this carries on the only thing we will be able to look forward to, is if we get a good score on our tests or if our boss praises us. This can be changed if those with a say and voice choose to put this forward in discussions and we can protect the things that keep us alive rather than destroy them.
